It could be a contemporary building. the massing is robust and the gradations in color are subtle and attractive. I'm not sure where one would put the windows.

David--given your usual dry humor--I can't tell if you mean this to be a compliment to contemporary buildings or a criticism of them. Can you clarify for your loyal readers?
